Friends - You Are Remarkable - GDP490 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP490 Sketch Challenge. Sketch challenges make life so much easier when you need inspiration for card making. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

For my card I used the You Are Remarkable stamp set, Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, Woven Textures DSP, Neutral Matte Dots and Stampin' Blends. I love the stamp set and wanted to use the neutral, more masculine Woven Textures papers to show how they can be used in a softer way.

Instructions:

- Use Crumb Cake for the card base. Stamp the dotty image from the You Are Remarkable stamp set with Basic Beige ink onto a piece of  Basic White card and layer onto the Crumb Cake card. Layer a piece of the Woven Textures DSP on top.

- Use a smaller piece of Crumb Cake card and emboss with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. Layer a smaller piece of Early Espresso card onto it to mimic the sketch.

- Stamp the images and sentiment from the You Are Remarkable stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink. Fussy cut the floral image and colour with Stampin' Blends (Peach Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, Moody Mauve, Pumpkin Pie, Lost Lagoon, Granny Apple Green and Mossy Meadow). Adhere the image once coloured to the card.

- Adhere the sentiment and then Pecan Pie Neutral Matte Dots to the card front to complete.
