Happy Valentine's Day - Word Wishes Dies - Use Your Stash Instagram Hop

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the 'Use Your Stash" Instagram Hop. I am joined by an amazing lineup of crafters so make sure you go to my Instagram page HERE to see the rest of the team's creations. 

The aim of the hop is to use up some of the huge stash that we all accumulate. Hopefully it will also inspire both ourselves and others to combine some of our old and new products to reduce that stash.

This month's theme is "Words! Words! Words!". Like my Designer Series Paper, I love keeping word dies and good sentiment sets as they are always useful for any occasion. 

I decided to use the retired Word Wishes Dies from Stampin' Up!® which was released a few years back. Given that Valentine's Day is coming up, I thought the sentiment from this set was perfect.

In addition to the Word Wishes Dies, I used the Hearts of Elegance Dies, Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP and the Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins which are all part of the Marbled Elegance Suite Collection. I embossed the die cut hearts with the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder (retired) to mimic small hearts.

Instructions:

- Use Melon Mambo for the card base then layer with another smaller piece of Melon Mambo, Basic White and then a piece of Marbled Elegance Specialty DSP.

- Use the Hearts of Elegance Dies and die cut three different sized hearts using Basic White card. Use the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder and emboss the largest and smallest hearts. Layer the three hearts onto each other from smallest to largest and adhere.

- Die cut the sentiment from the Basic Black card using the Words Wishes Dies and adhere to the card. Finally add some Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins to complete the card.
