For You - For The Books - GDP484 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP484 Case the Designer Challenge where we are CASEing the amazing Janneke Dijkstra de Jong. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I was inspired by Janneke's clean and simple card, her layout and use of white space and bright colours. I used the For the Books stamp set, Toadstool Gardens 6" x 6 " DSP, Stampin' Blends to colour the images and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White for the card base and layer with Melon Mambo card and then a piece of the Toadstool Gardens DSP. Add another layer of Basic White card which has had Melon Mambo ink blended onto it with a Blending Brush and then Melon Mambo ink splattered onto it. 

- Stamp the images from the For The Books stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and fussy cut out. Colour with Stampin' Blends which coordinate with the Toadstool Gardens DSP (Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia, Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green).

- Stamp the sentiment from the For The Books stamp set using Tuxedo Black ink directly onto the card. Finally colour some Rhinestone Basic Jewels with Melon Mambo Stampin' Blends and adhere to the card to complete.
