I Love You More Than - Friendly Seagulls- GDP476 Case the Designer Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP476 Case the Designer Challenge. This week we are CASEing the amazing Elodie Ventroux. I was inspired by the background details and soft colours in Elodie's card. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

I used the Friendly Seagulls stamp set (a Sale-a-bration set available for orders over AUD$100 in January 2025) and Stampin' Blends. I also used techniques such as Ink Blending and second generation stamping.

Instructions:

- Use Basic Beige for the card base and layer with a piece of Basic White. Add some Basic Beige ink to another piece of Basic White using a Blending Brush. Splatter with some Pebbled Path ink.

- Stamp rocks from the Friendly Seagull set onto the blended area using Pecan Pie and Pebbled Path ink. Also stamp second and third generation flying seagulls onto this layer. Adhere this layer to the card front.

- Stamp images from the Friendly Seagulls set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and colour with Stampin' Blends (Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon, Gray Granite and Pecan Pie). Fussy cut the images and adhere.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Friendly Seagulls set onto Basic Beige carde using Pebbled Path ink. Layer onto the card front slightly asymmetrically to mimic fries.
