Hello - Poised Peony - GDP453 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP453 Colour Challenge. This week the colours are Pretty ink Pink, Basic Beige and Pecan Pie. I have to say this combination reminds me of ice cream but I decided to use some favourite florals instead. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the entries.

For my card, I used the Poised Peony Stamp set, using Stampin' Blends to colour the image.  I also used Linen Thread, as well as the 2024-2026 In Colour DSP and Shimmer Gems to complete the card.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White for the card base and layer with a piece of Pecan Pie card, Basic Beige card and then a wide strip of the Pretty in Pink 2024-2026 In Colour DSP. Apply Pretty in Pink Stampin' Blends to a piece of Basic White card diluting the colour with Isopropyl Alcohol. Distress the edges with Paper Snips and adhere.

- Stamp the Peony image from the Poised Peony stamp set onto another piece of Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Fussy cut the image and colour with both Pretty in Pink and Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends before adhering to the card front. Splatter some Pretty in Pink all over the front of the card.

- Stamp the sentiment onto the card front with Pecan Pie ink then tie a Linen Thread bow and adhere to the flower. Finally add some 2024-2026 Shimmer Gems to complete.
