Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI706 Inspiration Challenge . I was inspired by the colours and stripes but didn't want to use the typical blue from the inspiration image.
I used the Simply Said stamp set (sentiment), Spotlight on Nature Bundle and Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack (flowers), A Little Latte DSP, Fun Patterns Embossing Folder, Stampin' Blends, Linen Thread and 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems.
Instructions:
- Use Lost Lagoon card for the card base, layered with Basic White card and then a piece of the striped 'A Little Latte' DSP. Use the Spotlight on Nature dies to die cut a fancy edged circle from Basic White and emboss with one the Fun Patterns Embossing Folders.
- Stamp the image from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White. Fussy cut around the image and then add some colour to the image using Stampin' Blends (Pool Party, Azure Afternoon, Lost Lagoon, Wild Wheat and Lemon Lolly). Layer the image on top of some die cuts from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set using Tuxedo Black onto Basic White and adhere. Add a bow made form Linen Thread and 2024-2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems to complete.
