You Made My Day - Cheerful Daisies - GDP400 Case the Designer

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP400 Case The Designer Challenge . This week marks the 400th challenge over at Global Design Project and in celebration of this we are CASEing the founds of GDP - Kylie Bertucci and Louise Sharp. I was inspired by elements from both cards with the patterned background and greens from Kylie's card and the florals and pink (always a favourite for me) and twine from Louise's card. 

I used the Cheerful Daisies Bundle, colouring the images from the set with Stampin' Blends. I also used one of the Foursquare Decorative Masks and blended ink through to create the patterned background.

Instructions:

- Use Berry Burst card for the base and layer with a piece of Bubble Bath card. Use a piece of Basic White card and apply Lemon Lolly ink with a Blending Brush through one of the Foursquare Decorative Masks and layer onto the base. 

- Stamp the floral image from the Cheerful Daisies set onto Basic White using Pebbled Path ink and the leaves with Old Olive ink. Colour the flower with Bubble Bath and Berry Burst Stampin' Blends. Stamp the centre with the centre stamp using Lemon Lolly ink. Add some Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends to add some interest. 

- Die cut leaves from Basic White using the Cheerful Daisies Dies. Colour some of the pieces with Old Olive ink using a Blending Brush and adhere all the pieces to the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies set onto Basic White using Pebbled Path ink and adhere. Add a bow using Linen Thread just under the sentiment. Finally add some Lemon Lolly Adhesive Backed Solid Gems to the flower centre and the card to complete.
