Something Great To Celebrate - Zany Zoo - GDP393 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP393 Colour Challenge . This week our colours are Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate.

I used the Zany Zoo bundle, (images coloured with Stampin' Blends and Stampin' Write Markers in the challenge colours)  as well as the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders and 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots (retired).

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Coastal Cabana A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Mat with a piece of Basic White card and then Flirty Flamingo. Use a piece of Basic White and emboss half the card with the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder to give the appearance of wallpaper. Use a  Blending Brush to apply Smoky Slate ink to the raised areas. 

- Stamp the llama image onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Die cut the image and also accessories using the Zany Zoo dies. Colour the accessories with Stampin' Blends in the challenge colours and use the Colour Lifter to help dilute the strength of the colours. Use the Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Marker to colour the scarf, eyes and stems of the flowers.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Zany Zoo stamp set using Versamark ink onto Coastal Cabana Ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Add some 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Decorative Dots (retired) to complete.
