Hello again and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today for our first DT challenge of 2023. This week's challenge is Just Add Ink #JAI636 - 'Just Add Your Favourite' Blog Hop where we are doing a full team blog hop.
You hopefully will be arriving from Kim Badelt's blog. But you can start here and follow the hop all the way around to see the Team's creations.
Today's hop theme is to "Add your favourite". Some of my favourite things are using Stampin' Blends to colour images and fussy cutting so I decided to incorporate both techniques into my card. I use the Silly Goose stamp set (a new favourite stamp set), and fussy cut and coloured the images with Stampin' Blends. I also used the By The Bay Specialty DSP and fussy cut and distressed a piece of the DSP to create the waves effect.

Instructions:
- Use an A4 piece of Basic White, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Layer this with a piece of Pool Party card. Use another piece of Basic White as the next layer.
- Apply Tahitian Tide ink to the centre of the Basic White layer using a Blending Brush. Use a piece of By The Bay Speciality DSP wave paper and use Paper Snips to cut up the layers. Glue these layers down slightly overlapping them and then distress the edges using either a thumbnail or Snips. Use one of the lighter layers as a layer of Sand and add some colour using Stampin' Blends (Crumb Cake, Bronze & Ivory) to enhance the sand appearance.
- Stamp the images from the Silly Goose set with Tuxedo Black onto Basic White. Colour the images with Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate, Gray Granite, Granny Apple Green, Pale Papaya, Flirty Flamingo, Polished Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Fresh Freesia, Sweet Sorbet and So Saffron). Fussy cut them with Paper Snips and adhere to the card and then adhere this card layer to the card.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Silly Goose stamp set onto Pool Party card using Versamark ink and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Adhere to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
