Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP372 Case the Designer Challenge . This week we are CASEing the amazing Kayla McCreadie. I was inspired by the florals, textured background and the embossed sentiment from Kayla's original card.
As you know I love my florals, so I picked the Abigail Rose DSP to create my flowers and replicated the textured background with the Dots & Spots Die, and used the Cottage Rose stamp set for the embossed sentiment.
Instructions:
- Use a piece of Crumb Cake A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Abigail Rose DSP. Use a piece of Basic White card and layer with another piece of Basic White that has been die cut with the Dots & Spots Die and adhere both to the card.
- Fussy cut flowers from the Abigail Rose DSP and colour with Stampin' Blends and Watercolour Pencils.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Cottage Rose stamp set using Versamark ink onto Basic Black and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and adhere to the card. Add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card to complete.
