Together For The Long Haul - He's All That - GDP369 Colour Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's GDP369 Colour Challenge . This week our colours are Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Pumpkin Pie.

I originally thought of florals (no surprise) for these colours and then went with a more masculine themed card as the colours reminded me sports team colours. I used the He's All That Bundle, the He's The Man Specialty DSP and the Solid Faceted Gems.

Instructions:

- Use a Night of Navy A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Use a piece of Basic White card and apply Pumpkin Pie Ink through a cardstock die cut used as a mask created using the All That Dies. Use a Blending Brush to apply Pumpkin Pie ink to the edges of this Basic White card panel to give some more definition.

- Die cut some cross hatch pieces from Basic White using the All The Dies and adhere to the card. Stamp the large van image onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink and then die cut with the All That Dies. Colour the van image haphazardly to give it a surfer van feel using Stampin' Blends (Pumpkin Pie and Night of Navy). Use the Blending Brush to apply some Balmy Blue ink to the die cut stamped circle.

- Use a piece of the He's The Man Specialty DSP and cut one of the ephemera pieces down to fit the card after applying some Pumpkin Pie and Balmy Blue ink with a Blending Brush to it. Overlay the stamped circle onto this piece and then adhere both the card. Add some Night of Navy Solid Faceted Gems to the card to complete.
