Hello and welcome back to my blog and welcome to the 7 Days of Christmas - a celebration of the festive season with some of my Artisan Alumni friends and I from Stampin' Fancy Friday.

For Day 2, I decided to use the Penguin Place stamp set with the coordinating Penguin Builder Punch from Stampin' Up®. I also created this for the 'In the Snow' theme for Martin Stone's 30 Day Christmas Cardmaking Challenge. In addition to the Penguin Place Bundle, I also used the Layering Circles Dies, Santa Express DSP, Gold Distressed Specialty and White Glimmer Paper, Gold Shimmer Ribbon and Sparkle & Shine Sequins.
Instructions:
- Use the Layering Circles Dies to die cut a scalloped circle from the Santa Express DSP and and smaller circle using Basic White A4. Stamp stars from the Penguin Place stamp set using Smoky Slate ink (stamp the second generation image) onto the Basic White circle.
- Stamp the penguin from the Penguin Place set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black, the beak and feet using Mango Melody, the hat using Orchid Oasis and the trees using Old Olive. Stamp one of the trees as a second generation image to add colour.
- Hand cut the White Glimmer paper to create snow mounds and adhere to the circle. Adhere the penguin, accessories and tree over the top. Stamp the sentiment from the Penguin Place set onto Basic White and mat onto a piece of Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and adhere to the card.
- Add some Sparkle and Shine sequins and a Gold Shimmer Ribbon bow to complete the tag.
