Today I have a card for you using the For The Record which is a stamp set from the Stampin' Up!® Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue . This set is being highlighted this week by Stampin' Through the Catalog.
This is such a fun stamp set and I decided to give it a sort of 70's feel with the gold added to it. I used the Abstract Beauty DSP both for the papers and also to cut out the gold spots.
Instructions:
- Use a piece of Basic White A4 card cut lengthwise for the base. Mat with two pieces of the Abstract Beauty DSP.
- Stamp the record from the For The Record Stamp three times onto Basic Black card with Versamark Ink and heat emboss with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. Cut down to smaller sizes using the Layering Circles Dies. Stamp the heart from the centre of the record stamp onto Magenta Madness card with Magenta Madness Ink and fussy cut out and attach to the records. Add some Matte Black Dots to the centre of the records.
- Stamp the sentiment and the stripes from the For The Record stamp set onto Basic White using Misty Moonlight ink. Cut down to size and adhere to the front of the card. Fussy cut some gold spots from the Abstract Beauty DSP (the opposite side of the Pink DSP) and adhere to the card.
