You Made My Day - Dahlia Days Bundle - GDP330 Sketch Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today's card is for Global Design Project's Sketch Challenge #GDP330 .

For my card today I decided to use the Dahlia Days Bundle from the Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalouge. I used the large detailed background Detailed Dahlias Dies from the set and a whole lot of flowers and leaves stamped from the Dahlia Days Stamp Set. That background die is amazing and I have more cards and ideas using that set HERE.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White A4 card cut in half and folded for the card base. Layer Basic Gray on top. Die cut the large background detailed die from the Detailed Dahlias Dies using Basic White card and adhere to a piece of Basic White card. Trim off the overhanging edges.

- Use the Dahlia Days stamp set and stamp the floral images and leaves onto Basic White card using Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Mint Macaron inks onto Basic White card. Die cut or fussy cut both sets of images out and adhere on top of the large die cut using the sketch as a guide.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Dahlia Days stamp set using Versamark ink onto a strip of of the Basic Black card and heat emboss with White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Adhere to a strip of Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon . After adhering the sentiment to the card, add some Rhinestone Basic Jewel.
