Hello and welcome back! So today's post is my first one as a member of the Global Design Project's Design Team. I am so excited and grateful for this opportunity, and can't wait to continue to share my creations and work with this incredibly talented team.

This week's challenge #GDP323 has a theme of "Celebration". Now there are many reasons to celebrate at this time of year, but for my card I wanted to celebrate the New Year. For me black, white and gold are all reminiscent of New Year celebrations, and I decided to combine it with the Artfully Layered Bundle which reminds me of our Australian sub tropical summer.

Instructions:

- Use Basic White A4 card cut lengthwise and folded for the card base. Add a piece of the Vellum Layering Designs . Mat this with a piece of Basic White card which has been embossed with the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and had Polished Pink and Black ink splattered onto it.

- Die cut leaves from Polished Pink Shimmer Vellum and Black Glitter Paper (retiring soon) using the Tropical Layers Dies and adhere to the card. Stamp a sentiment from the A Wish for Everything stamp set using Versamark ink onto Basic White card and heat emboss with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. Attach to a piece of Black Glitter Paper and a strip of Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and attach to the card. Add some Basic Rhinestone Jewels to the card.
