You're too Kind - Quiet Meadow - #GDP309 Colour Challenge

Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the Global Design Challenge #GDP309 Colour Challenge this week. For this challenge, you have to use Basic Black, Basic White and another colour of your choice. I decided to forgo my beloved Polished Pink (haven't you noticed I try and sneak that into most cards) and decided to used Crumb Cake.

For this card I used the Quiet Meadow Bundle, Be Dazzling 6" x6" Specialty Paper (a Sale-a-bration item coloured with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends), Pattern Party DSP (Host Rewards), Meadow Moments Embossing Folder and Stampin' Blends (for colouring Vellum and the Be Dazzling Paper).

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Crumb Cake A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use a smaller piece of Crumb Cake, stamp (multiple times) and heat emboss the sentiment from the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set using Versamark Ink and White Stampin' Emboss Powder. Use a Blending Brush to add some Tuxedo Black ink to the edges of this embossed card, and then use Paper Snips to distress the edges. Attach this piece to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Use a piece of White Vellum and emboss with the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. Rip the edges and also do the same with a piece of the Pattern Party DSP. Attach to the card using Stampin' Seal.

- Use the Meadow Dies and die cut some leaves using Basic White, Vellum and Be Dazzling Specialty Paper. Colour both the Vellum and the Be Dazzling paper with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends. Use Blending Brushes and Crumb Cake ink and edge one of the leaves with the ink. Tie a piece of Twine in a bow around the collection of leaves and then attach to the card using Stampin' Seal.

- Die cut some butterflies from Basic Black card using the Meadows Dies. Add some Pearl Basic Jewels to the butterflies and then attach using Mini Glue Dots. Stamp a sentiment from the Quiet Meadow set onto Basic White card using Tuxedo Black ink. Mat this onto a piece of Basic Black card and attach to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
