What a lovely card! I'm still working on getting better with the stampin Blends and alcohol. This one is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your lovely comment Lynn!☺️🙏🏼🌷 It is definitely something I continue to practice myself. With this card, I actually worked on a larger piece and cut it down to size so I could select the area I liked the most... I find working with Alcohol Inks a little unpredictable so creating a larger piece adds a bit more freedom. xx
DeleteHow do u do the Stampin blends and alcohol? Is there a tutorial on this technique?
ReplyDeleteHi Lydia, thanks for visiting my blog. There are a quite a few video tutorials on Youtube by others ( I have not made one myself), however I do have details on how to make the background from another card I have made. See this link - hope it helps and please check in if you have any questions.

This is just a beautiful card! I don't have Stampin' Blends to create that particular component, but I could use a nice piece of DSP (or watercolor a piece of paper) to achieve a similar look. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your lovely comment. You could absolutely do this with watercolours, just make sure to dry between layers and of course patterned paper would be an easy way to achieve a very similar look. Hope to see your creation! ☺️🙏🏼🌷
DeleteOh, wow, what a stunner of a card! The white sunflower looks amazing over that incredible inked background.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Tina, it was a lot of fun to make! ☺️🙏🏼🌷
DeleteSo gorgeous Annie! Your alcohol inked background is stunning behind the Sunflower frame and I love all the textural details too! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Jan! I really appreciate it! ☺️🙏🏼🌷
