Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the Global Design Project #GDP303 Theme Challenge this week which is based around "Flower Power". I have also entered this into the Colour INKspiration Challenges #CI104, where the colour challenge was to use Basic Black, Basic White and Cherry Cobbler.

I used fussy cut flowers from the Beautifully Penned DSP (a free Sale-a-bration item for spending over AUD$90 in a single order), which coordinates with the Hand-Penned Suite. See THIS post for more information on Sale-a-bration. I also used the Art in Bloom stamp set for the sentiment and Stampin' Blends to create the alcohol ink blending on Vellum.

Instructions:

- Use a piece of Basic Black A4 card, cut in half lengthwise and folded.

- Use the piece of Stampin' Up! Vellum and add some colour from a Stampin' Blends marker (Basic Black and Cherry Cobbler). Add some high strength Isopropyl Alcohol (I used the Australian brand Diggers 99% Isopropyl Alcohol), either via adding drops of the alcohol onto the coloured area or using the sprayer.

- Add each colour one at time and move the colour around using a straw or air blower (I used a blower). Keep adding colour until you are satisfied. Attach the Vellum to Basic White card using sponged Liquid Glue spread over the back of the Vellum. Attach the card/vellum layer to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Fussy cut some flowers from the Beautifully Penned DSP and then use Cherry Cobbler ink and a Blender Pen to apply it lightly to the floral images. Attach the flowers to the card using Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals.

- Stamp a sentiment from the Art in Bloom stamp set using Versamark onto Basic Black card and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder. Mat the piece onto a strip of Basic White card and then attach to the card using Liquid Glue. Add some Holiday Rhinestone Basic jewels to the card.
