Hello again! Today's card is one I have entered into the TGIF Challenge Blog - #TGIFC326 - Technique Challenge . This weeks challenge is based around decorated envelopes.
I used one of my favourite sets Flowers of Friendship using Stampin' Blends to colour the images, the Artistic Inked Bundle (for the vellum die cut and sentiment) and some of the Host Rewards Pattern Party Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!® . I decided to create the decorated envelope to recreate elements of the card and used the Pattern Party DSP along the flap. Using patterned paper on the envelope is a great way of using up your paper stash.
Instructions:
- Use a piece of Basic White A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded. Use two successively narrower pieces of the Pattern Party DSP and adhere both layers with Liquid Glue.
- Use a piece of Basic White card and some Vellum and stamp images from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set using Tuxedo Black and Versamark respectively. Use some White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat emboss the Vellum. Use the coordinating punch to cut out the flowers. Use Stampin' blends to colour both the Basic White and Vellum punched flowers.
- Using the Artistically Inked Bundle, stamp the sentiment using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card, and also die cut the leaf from Vellum. Attach the leaf to the card using Liquid Glue. Attach the sentiment and flowers to the card using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Add some Pearl Basic Jewels coloured with Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends to the flowers and add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the main card.
- Add some of the Pattern Party DSP to the flap of a Basic White C6 Envelope and attach with Liquid Glue making sure to seal the edges for sending in the mail. Add some punched and coloured flowers from the Flowers of Friendship set with Liquid Glue.
