Hello and welcome back to my blog.
I had planned on posting these cards for my last blog post, but got completely sidetracked by the Butterfly Bouquet Collection by Stampin' Up!®, I showed in my last blog post. The Butterfly Bundle is so pretty and it has a lovely soft colour palette.
I used the Delicate Petals Bundle again (see here for my previous card using this bundle), however this time I used the stamp set as the main feature. The bundle is really versatile as it has dies to create flowers separate to the stamp set. I also used the Oh So Ombré Papers (Sale-A-bration item) which you can get for FREE for any purchase over AUD$90 in the Australian Stampin' Up!® store. The Delicate Petals Bundle is AUD$77.25, so you could purchase the bundle and some coordinating ribbon or embellishments and purchase the Ombré paper for free to recreate these cards.
For my first card, I used the Gorgeous Rococo Rose Ombré Paper.
Instructions:
- Use a Basic White card base - A4 cut in half and folded in half.
- Cut a smaller piece of the Oh So Ombré DSP and attach to the base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock, and cut a slightly smaller piece of Basic White cardstock.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Delicate Petals stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink onto the Basic White card using a Stamparatus to ensure correct placement. Also use a decorative stamp from the set and stamp across the Basic White card using Rococo Rose ink.
- Attach the stamped Basic White piece to the Basic Black piece using Liquid Glue. Attach both pieces to the base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the floral image and some leaves onto a scrap piece of Basic White with Tuxedo Black ink. Die cut the images out using the Lacy Petals Dies. Colour in the floral image carefully using a Blender Pen and Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride ink and colour the leaves using Just Jade
- Attach the floral image and leaves to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Use some Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and create and bow and adhere to the card with Mini Glue Dots.
- Adhere a stamped strip of the Oh So Ombré DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the inside of the card.

For this second card, I used the Bermuda Bay Ombré Paper , using the same layout style but vertical instead.
Instructions:
- Use the Blending Brushes to softly colour the Basic White cardstock with Bermuda Bay Ink.
- Wrap a piece of Pool Party Ribbon around the front of the card and tie a knot at the side. Use a Mini Glue Dot to keep it in place.
- Cut a piece of Bermuda Bay card as well as a smaller piece of the Oh So Ombré Bermuda Bay DSP and adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Attach to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals over the Pool Party Ribbon.
- Stamp the Delicate Petals floral image with Tuxedo Black Ink, and cut out using the Lacy Petals Dies.
- Colour the floral image using Stampin' Blends - Bermuda Bay and Pool Party.
- Stamp a sentiment from the Delicate Petals Stamp Set onto a strip of Basic White and adhere to the Bermuda Bay pieces with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Adhere the coloured floral image over the top of the Basic White sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Use some of the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and place at different spots on the card.
- Stamp the floral image from the Delicate Petals stamp set onto the inside of the card using Bermuda Bay Ink, but stamp off first and create a second generation stamped image.
