Today's card is one I am giving to my mother for her birthday today (Happy Birthday Mum!!). It uses stamps and dies from the Always in My Heart Bundle (part of the Love You Always Suite) and also Happy Thoughts Stamp Set and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from Stampin' Up!®.
Instructions:
- Use a Gorgeous Grape card base - A4 cut in half lengthwise and folded in half.
- Cut a smaller piece of the Basic White card and attach to the base with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Cut a piece of True Love Designer Series Paper. Use Blending Brushes and Gorgeous Grape ink to colour in the DSP and place emphasis on the bigger flowers by adding more ink to them with the brushes. Attach the DSP to the Basic White card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Use the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut coordinating "labels" from Gorgeous Grape card and Basic White cardstock.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set with Tuxedo Black ink onto the Basic White die cut. Attach the sentiment to Gorgeous Grape die cut using Liquid Glue and then attach that to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp floral images from the Always in my Heart stamp set onto Basic White using Gorgeous Grape ink. Fussy cut the images (although you could use the Floral Heart Dies). Attach the flowers to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Add some pastel pearls to the centre of the flowers and at each end of the Stitched So Sweetly die cut.
- Attach a piece of Basic White card to the inside of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and stamp another of the floral images from the Always in my Heart stamp set using Gorgeous Grape ink.
