Today's card uses some of the Love You Always Suite products from the new Jan-June 2021 Stampin' Up!® Mini Catalogue (click on the link if you would like to download the catalogue). I created this card a while back but realised it was perfect for this weeks Global Design Project Blog Challenge.
The challenge this week is #GDP274 using the sketch below.
- Use a Basic Black mat and adhere to the Melon Mambo base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Cut a piece of the True Love Designer Series Paper slightly smaller than the Basic Black.
- Use a 2" Circle punch and punch out a circle to create a focal point.
- Adhere the larger piece of the True Love DSP to the Basic Black piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Colour the punched circle piece with Stampin' Blends (Melon Mambo, So Saffron and Granny Apple Green).
- Once the colouring is completed, attach the coloured punched circle back onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals being careful to line it up correctly.
- Stamp a sentiment from the 'Always in My Heart' stamp set, using Versamark onto a strip of Basic Black cardstock. Use White Stampin' Emboss Powder and heat emboss the sentiment. Attach the sentiment to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Attach some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to some of the flowers to add some sparkle.
- For the inside of the card use a piece of Whisper White/Basic White card and a strip of the same DSP for the inside of the card. Attach them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
