Hope you are having a great weekend. I have had an extremely busy but entertaining weekend thanks to attending "On Stage at Home 2020" Stampin' Up!® virtual convention. It was my first time attending, and I learnt a lot, had fun doing make and takes at home and caught up with other demonstrators. Keep reading at the end of the post for a couple of photos from the cards we made.
So today, I am posting a card using the Curvy Dies from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle and used them with some new Designer Series Paper and stamps for the Dandy Garden Suite (it will be available in the January to June 2021 mini catalogue).
- I used a standard Whisper White A4 card base cut in half lengthwise and attached a card front sized piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock leaving a 1/8" (3mm) border.
- I then cut a piece of the Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper to be slightly smaller than the piece of Misty Moonlight and attached it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- I stamped an image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used the Curvy Dies from the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle and die cut a curve in the Whisper White stamped card piece.
- I then attached that Whisper White piece with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Dandy Garden DSP.
- I then used a strip of Misty Moonlight and stamped a sentiment from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set using Versamark ink onto it. I heat embossed the sentiment with White Stampin' Embossing Powder. I then attached the Misty Moonlight strip to the card front with Stampin Dimensionals.
- I added some bling using the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a bow using the Misty Moonlight Bakers Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. I attached the bow using a single glue dot.
- I used Bumblebee Classic Stampin' Pad ink to stamp the flowers again on the inside of the card.
