Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP469 Colour Challenge where we using Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Real Red. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the entries.
I haven't been ready to make Christmas cards yet, but this colour combination worked so well with the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack. I used the card pack and combined it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Instructions:
- Use Real Red for the card base and layer with Basic White card which has been embossed with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder.
- Use the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack, and select three cards from the pack (one with the sentiment) which use the challenge colours and layer onto the embossed card.
- Cut out a presents from one of the larger Reindeer Days Memories & More Cards and add some more presents cut from the sticker sheet in the pack as well and layer onto the card. Finally add some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete.

Hello and welcome back to my blog. You are visiting Ann Alexander from Australia. Today I have a card for the October 2024 "Ink and Inspiration Blog Hop".This month we have a Colour Inspiration Challenge. The inspiration image colours are Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue & Early Espresso. I chose the colours rather than the image for my card.
I used the Country Flowers Bundle, Cross Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder, a card from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Pack, Stampin' Blends and finished it off with some Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
Instructions:
- Use a piece of Basic White card for the card base and layer with a piece of Pumpkin Pie and then Real Red card embossed with the Cross Hatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Use a piece of Basic White card and mat a card from the Reindeer Days Memories & More Pack onto it and adhere.
- Stamp the image and sentiment from the Country Flowers set using Tuxedo Black ink onto Basic White card and die cut the image using the coordinating dies. Colour the image and Stampin' Blends (in the challenge colours, using one of the Deep Combo pack blends in place of Early Espresso) and adhere.
- Use the Country Flowers Dies to die cut some leaves from Basic White card and colour them with Shaded Spruce Stampin' Blends. Adhere all the pieces including the sentiment to the card front. Add some Pumpkin Pie Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins to complete.

I had to make a birthday card for my husband and it worked perfectly with this week's challenge. I was inspired by the colours, layout and background detailing in Charlet's card and used elements of those in my card. For my card I used the Adventurous Sky Bundle, Take To The Sky DSP, Stampin' Blends and Copper Clay Natural Tones Linen Thread.
Instructions:
- Use Basic White for the card base and layer. with Copper Clay card, Night of Navy card, Smoky Slate card and a piece of the Take To The Sky DSP.
- Cut out a tag from the Take To The Sky DSP, punch a hole in the top and tie some Copper Clay Natural Tones Linen Thread through it.
- Stamp images from the Adventurous Sky set using Smoky Slate ink onto Basic White and die cut with the coordinating dies. Colour the images with Stamp Blends (Boho Blue, Lemon Lolly and Real Red) and adhere to the tag with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Adventurous Sky set onto Basic White using Smoky Slate and adhere to the card.
