Make A Splash - Friendly Fins - GDP499 Theme Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP498 Theme Challenge where the theme this week is "Animals". Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

To create my card, I used the Friendly Fins stamp set (retiring), Florals In Bloom DSP, Stampin' Blends and the For Everything Fancy Sequins (retired).


Instructions:

- Use Secret Sea for the card base and layer with a piece of Cloud Cover card, then a piece of Basic White and finally a piece of the Florals In Bloom DSP.

- Stamp images from the Friendly Fins stamp set onto Basic White card using Secret Sea ink. Colour all the images with Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate, Grey Granite, Pool Party, Soft Seafoam, Lemon Lolly, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Fresh Freesia and Petunia Pop). Fussy cut or die cut the images. Adhere all the images to the card.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Friendly Fins stamp set with Secret Sea Ink onto Basic White card and adhere. Finally add some For Everything Fancy Sequins to the card front to complete.

Happy Birthday - More Messages - JAI753 Sketch Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! I have another Just Add Ink Design Team post for you today. This week's challenge is the Just Add Ink #JAI753 Just Add A Sketch Challenge . 

I used the More Messages Stamp set and Florals In Bloom DSP to create my card.



Instructions:

- Use a piece of Secret Sea card, layered with a piece of Basic White and then the Florals In Bloom DSP. 

- Fussy cut florals from the Florals In Bloom DSP and adhere mimicking the sketch.

- Stamp a sentiment from the More Messages stamp set onto Basic White using Tuxedo Black ink and adhere to complete.

Celebrate - Beautiful Motifs - GDP498 Sketch Challenge


Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today's card is for the Global Design Project's GDP498 Sketch Challenge. Visit the Global Design Project Instagram & Facebook pages during the week to see the rest of the team's entries.

To create my card, I used the Beautiful Motifs Bundle, Beautiful Gallery DSP, Linen Thread and Neutral Matte Dots.


Instructions:

- Use Early Espresso for the card base and layer with a piece of Basic Beige and then a piece of Crumb Cake card. Layer three Beautiful Gallery DSP strips onto Basic White card and layer on top of the card.

- Die cut flowers from Calypso Coral and Peach Pie card with the Beautiful Motifs Dies and layer onto the card. Tie two bows using linen thread and adhere to the die cuts.

- Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp with Pecan Pie Ink onto Basic White card. Layer it onto a piece of Early Espresso card and adhere onto the card. Finally add some Neutral Matte Dots to the card front to complete.

Hope is a Beautiful Thing - Sketched Butterflies - CAS on Friday


Hello and welcome back to my blog! My card for today is for this week's CAS on Friday Challenge #309 where we have a "Things with Wings" Challenge. 

I used the Sketched Butterflies stamp set (retiring), Stampin' Blends and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels (retired).

Make sure to visit the blog HERE to see the rest of the team's projects.

Instructions:

- Use Fresh Freesia card and layer with a piece of Basic White card. Use another piece of Basic White card, which has had Bubble Bath & Fresh Freesia ink splattered lightly onto it. 

- Stamp the small butterfly images and sentiment from the Sketched Butterflies stamp set onto the Basic White piece using Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp another piece of Basic White with a larger butterfly using the same set and ink and fussy cut the image.

- Colour the images with Stampin' Blends (Petunia Pop, Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath & Petal Pink). Adhere the stamped/splattered Basic White card to the card front, as well as adhering the larger butterfly. Finally add some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to complete the card.
